Looking for a quick way to teach about Black History Month? My fold and go booklets require just one sheet of paper that you can fold into mini booklets. I took this idea a step further and created a second page that can be copied on the back of the first page, so you can flip it over and refold, to find a booklet filled with activities to complete based on the text that was read. All your kids have to do after reading the booklet is open it up flip it over and fold again to do the activities. How easy is that?

This is a simple but yet informative nonfiction mini book and the pictures are very detailed. They can be used to build vocabulary, fluency skills, and reading comprehension. This mini book also meets the Common Core English Language Arts standards for reading informational text.
