Five for Friday~ March 3rd 2017
Joining Five for Friday with Doodle Bugs Teaching 🙂
Good bye February and hello March! We didn’t get to enjoy much of Read Across America Week due to our end of the year benchmarks :/ We’ll have Spirit Week next week, so I’m really looking forward to that, kind of, we also have conferences!! Ahhhh!!!
We had our end of the year benchmarks this week. Testing is such a stressful time for our students, I decided my littles needed a little encouragement! I called them each individually, handed them their “Smart Water” and “Lucky Penny.” I hugged them, told them I loved them, they are amazing students no matter what, and I believed in them! Their little smiles and hugs of gratitude melted my heart.
Testing is so tough on me too. But I always try not to let it get the best of me. My kids mean so much more to me than a test score and it is my job to let them know that every chance I get. The simplest gesture goes a long way. We absolutely loved the water bottle labels from Learning in Wonderland. Thank you for making my kids feel smarter, with a little sip of water!

I’m digging up my St. Patrick’s Day resources and getting ready for another fun filled month! Teach your little ones all about Ireland and St. Patrick’s Day with my Fold and Go Booklets!

So me right now 🙁 If you have testing soon, GOOD LUCK, I feel your pain!! Don’t forget to tell your kiddos how proud of them you are! Tests don’t define who you are as a teacher and who they are as students 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend!
