Have you ever wanted to buy a calendar and it doesn’t quite match your classroom decor/theme? Well I have the perfect solution for you! This has happened to me many times and a couple of years ago I figured out the easiest and most inexpensive way to buy a classroom calendar from the teaching store and make it your own! I don’t know why I didn’t think of this diy classroom decor sooner.

Most calendars have cute little borders around them. But as cute as they are most of these borders might now match our color schemes.

A couple of years ago I figured, “Why don’t I just cut the borders?” The calendars alone are only $3.99 at the teaching store and all you have to do is add the calendar materials of your choice! The calendar squares measure approximately 3 1/2 by 3.

I have created calendar kits that fit perfectly into these calendars. Below you will see everything that’s included in my calendar kits.

The picture above is how I displayed my DIY classroom decor calendar kit in my classroom. I used the clips below to hang the calendar numbers and the date. These clips are so great, they make it easy for you to move stuff around.

Below you will find the calendar kits available in my store.
