When we ask our students about their favorite holiday to celebrate in school, we shouldn’t be surprised Valentine’s Day is their favorite. Let’s think about it for a sec…What’s there not to like? In our class we have a very simple celebration, manage to do a fun craft, highlighted by passing out Valentine’s Day cards, and getting candy/treats (their favorite part). Their vibe from the early morning is excitement and anticipation. Due to this, it’s important to fill your day with Valentine-themed activities. These are a few of the activities and Valentine’s Day worksheets I’ve done and used in my classroom on Valentine’s Day and throughout the month of February. They keep my students learning and engaged while they eagerly wait for their celebration.
